Grew up in central Ohio and joined Pack 102 in London, Ohio as a Tiger Cub at the age of 6. Rebecca Glass, his mother, was his den leader for several years as a cub scout holding den meetings in their hometown of Plumwood, Ohio. Earned the Arrow of Light award.
Was active in Troop 102 as well, participating in national and world jamborees, two trips to Philmont, and countless campouts and summer camps. Alex is a Brotherhood member of the OA.
